A training program on “Advanced Cardiac Life Support” & “Basic Cardiac Life Support” was organized by the Anaesthesia Department of Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences on two different slots on 30^th June & 21^st July, 2024. 

A workshop on Molecular Biology was organized by the Department of Biochemistry in association with Molecular Diagnostic Laboratory, Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan Hospital, Kolkata on 12^th & 13^th July, 2024. Around 44 students from different institutions like St. Xavier’s College, Presidency College, Delhi Paramedical and Management and Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan Vivekananda Institute of Medical Sciences participated in this workshop. Swami Atmavikasananda, Swami Gunamayananda (Monk-In-Charge, Laboratory), Dr. Atul Kumar Gupta (Principal, VIMS), Dr. Sanjoy Mohan Bhattacharjee (Vice Principal, VIMS) inaugurated the program.

The 93^rd Foundation Day celebration of Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan and the Capping Ceremony of its School of Nursing and Ma Sarada College of Nursing have been observed on 24.07.2024 at Dayananda Hall of the institute. The Welcome Address was delivered by Revered Swami Nityakamananda, Secretary of the institution. Srimat Swami Jnanavratanandaji Maharaj (Manager, Ramakrishna Math, Belur Math) graced the occasion as the Chief Guest. Smt. Srabani Mandal (Registrar, West Bengal Nursing Council) graced the occasion as the Guest of Honor. Sri Manisankar Mukherjee (Vice President, Managing Committee of Ramakrishna Mission Seva Pratishthan) presided over the function.
