General Information –
- The G.N.M Course takes 3yrs to complete,i.e 1st year,2nd year & 3rd year is divided into two parts (part-I & part-II, respectively). The course starts in the month of October, every year.
- The candidate should be having a higher secondary level of education, preferred science subjects.
- The candidate should be in the age group of 18 to 25yrs respectively.
- She should have a residential certificate of West Bengal ,stating 5yrs of stay here. Other original certificates e.g. income certificates, caste certificates, Madhyamik admit cards and H.S mark sheets are required during admission.
- Admission to this course needs a written exam, interview and medical check ups are mandatory.
- The total number of seats are 40 , as permitted by West Bengal Nursing Council and Indian Nursing Council. The course is affiliated by them.
- Hostel facilities along with fooding and lodging are available and stay is compulsory.
- The course fees ranges from Rs 49,500 to 50,000, including hostel fees, which may vary. There are other expenses like books,stationaries, uniforms are a separate expenditure.
- The students have both practical and theory hours as according to the schedule framed. Most of the clinical exposures are done in this hospital itself.
- The examination pattern follows that is framed by West Bengal Nursing Council, which is held at every end of session. There are 30 days of vacation for each year.
- The students should follow the rules and regulations of the Pratishthan without any negligence.
- Maintaining strict discipline is in the hospital premises , clinical areas and during class hours is mandatory.
